Conflict Management within a team
– private sector

A situation arose where significant blame was focused on one person within a team while other team members formed an unhealthy ‘gang’. This made a constructive dismissal action by the accused person quite likely. Lois was called in to work with this team, using conflict resolution techniques and reframing. As the team took their personal power back the environment became less conducive to the negative leadership that had developed within the team. This ultimately resulted in the leader of the ‘gang’ leaving of their own volition, and those who remained were able see their work as a collective effort rather than individuals looking after themselves.
